Salary – 2500 AED

Key Responsibilities :

1. Patrolling and Monitoring

  • Conduct regular patrols: Walk through or monitor specific areas of the premises to ensure they are secure and free of any hazards, criminal activity, or disturbances.
  • Observe and report: Observe and report any suspicious activity, potential security breaches, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate authorities or management.
  • Monitor surveillance systems: Operate security cameras, alarm systems, and other surveillance equipment to monitor activities in and around the premises.

2. Access Control

  • Control entry and exit points: Ensure that only authorized individuals enter or exit the premises by checking identification, credentials, or passes.
  • Screen visitors: Check visitors’ identification and log them in/out as necessary, ensuring that only approved individuals are allowed access to restricted areas.
  • Enforce security protocols: Enforce policies related to the use of entry/exit points, such as restricting unauthorized personnel from accessing sensitive areas.

3. Preventing and Responding to Incidents

  • Prevent criminal activity: Deter theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities by maintaining a visible presence and acting as a deterrent.
  • Respond to alarms: Quickly respond to alarms or distress calls by investigating the cause and taking appropriate action, such as contacting emergency services if needed.
  • Assist in emergencies: Provide assistance in emergencies, including medical situations, fires, or evacuations, by guiding people to safety or performing first aid if trained.

4. Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain logs and reports: Document daily activities, incidents, visitor logs, or any security breaches in writing or digital forms to keep a record of events.
  • Incident reporting: Write detailed reports on incidents such as thefts, accidents, or altercations, and submit them to supervisors or law enforcement as needed.
  • File and store reports: Keep records of all reported incidents and ensure they are stored securely for future reference.

5. Customer Service

  • Assist visitors and staff: Greet and assist visitors, employees, or residents with directions, questions, or general information to promote a positive and professional image.
  • Manage conflicts: De-escalate minor disputes or conflicts calmly and professionally, ensuring that tensions are resolved without the need for further intervention.

6. Patrolling Specific Areas

  • Check security points: Ensure that security checkpoints, doors, gates, and windows are secure and locked as necessary.
  • Inspect equipment: Ensure that all security equipment, such as locks, alarms, and surveillance cameras, is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.

7. Crowd Control

  • Manage crowd behavior: Direct and control crowds during events, demonstrations, or emergencies to ensure order and prevent any potential security risks.
  • Enforce regulations: Ensure that individuals follow company policies or legal regulations regarding behavior, especially in public areas or special events.

8. Enforce Rules and Regulations

  • Enforce site-specific rules: Ensure that the rules and regulations of the establishment or premises are followed, such as no smoking, restricted areas, or use of unauthorized equipment.
  • Issue warnings or citations: When necessary, issue verbal or written warnings for minor violations of policies, escalating to law enforcement if required for serious breaches.

9. Handling Emergencies

  • Alert law enforcement: In cases of serious incidents (e.g., break-ins, violence, or fire), immediately contact law enforcement, fire departments, or medical services as necessary.
  • Manage emergency exits: Ensure that emergency exits are easily accessible and functional in case of evacuation and that individuals know the evacuation routes.
  • Coordinate with emergency responders: Assist police, fire, or medical personnel by providing relevant information or guiding them to the scene of an incident.

10. Risk Prevention

  • Assess potential threats: Identify and assess security risks, such as broken locks, faulty alarms, or potential safety hazards, and address them immediately.
  • Mitigate risks: Take preventative measures to reduce the likelihood of theft, vandalism, or harm to property and individuals.
